BTD

BTD is an acronym for 'Buy The Dip' — a trading strategy where investors or traders purchase an asset after a price decline, anticipating a rebound to previous levels or higher. The approach reflects a bullish bias that temporary pullbacks within an uptrend represent buying opportunities rather than the start of a larger decline. While BTD can be profitable in strong bull markets, it carries significant risk if applied during a genuine trend reversal or bear market where dips continue to deepen.

Example

Every time Bitcoin pulled back 10% during the bull run, BTD believers loaded up their positions and were consistently rewarded as price recovered.
