Quantitative Trading

A trading approach that uses mathematical models, algorithms, and statistical analysis to identify and execute trades. Quantitative trading relies on backtested strategies and automated systems to remove emotional bias and exploit market inefficiencies at scale.

Example

A quantitative trading firm might deploy an algorithm that detects mean-reversion opportunities in ETF pairs, automatically entering and exiting hundreds of trades per day based on statistical thresholds.
