Supply And Demand
The fundamental economic forces that determine the price of an asset. Supply refers to the quantity available for sale, while demand reflects the desire of buyers to purchase. Prices rise when demand exceeds supply and fall when supply exceeds demand.
Example
“The price of oil surged after OPEC cut production, reducing supply while global demand remained strong, tipping the balance and pushing crude above $90 per barrel.”
