About Ampleforth

Ampleforth (AMPL) is a unique algorithmic stablecoin that uses an elastic supply mechanism called rebasing. Instead of maintaining a $1 price through reserves, AMPL automatically adjusts every wallet's token balance daily based on a price oracle. When AMPL trades above $1, all wallets receive proportionally more tokens; when below $1, balances decrease. This means your share of the network remains constant even as supply changes. AMPL targets a 2019 CPI-adjusted dollar. It is designed as an uncorrelated asset class and is integrated into protocols like Aave and Balancer through the SPOT protocol.
