Belarusian ruble (BYN)
The official currency of Belarus, abbreviated BYN. It replaced the old Belarusian ruble (BYR) in 2016 at a redenomination rate of 1 BYN to 10,000 BYR. The currency is managed by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and has experienced periods of significant devaluation due to economic sanctions and domestic monetary pressures.
