Bermuda Dollar (BMD)
The official currency of Bermuda, abbreviated BMD and subdivided into 100 cents. It is pegged to the US dollar at a 1:1 rate, meaning one BMD is always equal to one USD. Because of this fixed peg, US dollars are widely accepted throughout Bermuda alongside the local currency.

“Tourists visiting Bermuda can use US dollars interchangeably with the Bermuda Dollar since the BMD is pegged at parity to the USD.”
