Bullish
Bullish describes a positive outlook on the price direction of an asset, sector, or overall market. A bullish trader or investor expects prices to rise and may take long positions, accumulate holdings, or express optimism through options strategies. Bullish sentiment can be driven by improving economic data, positive earnings surprises, accommodative monetary policy, or favorable technical patterns. The opposite of bullish is bearish, which anticipates declining prices.
Example
“Analysts turned bullish on the technology sector after quarterly earnings exceeded expectations across several major companies.”
