Dark Cloud Cover
Dark Cloud Cover is a bearish candlestick reversal pattern that forms at the top of an uptrend. It consists of two candles: a bullish candle followed by a bearish candle that opens above the previous high but closes below the midpoint of the first candle's body, signaling potential downward momentum.
Example
“After a strong uptrend, a dark cloud cover pattern formed on the daily chart, prompting traders to tighten their stop-losses in anticipation of a reversal.”
