Estonian Krooni (EEK)

The Estonian Kroon was the official currency of Estonia, abbreviated as EEK in forex markets. It was replaced by the euro on January 1, 2011, when Estonia joined the eurozone.

Example

Prior to Estonia adopting the euro in 2011, the EEK was pegged to the euro at a rate of 15.6466 EEK per EUR under the country's currency board arrangement.
