Fed Fund Futures
Fed Fund Futures are interest rate futures contracts based on the federal funds rate set by the Federal Reserve. They are traded on the CME and are widely used to gauge market expectations for future Fed rate decisions.
Example
“Fed Fund Futures were pricing in a 75% probability of a rate cut at the next FOMC meeting, so the forex trader positioned short on USD ahead of the announcement.”
