ICE U.S. Dollar Inflation Expectations Index
An index produced by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) that measures the market's expectations for future U.S. inflation, derived from the pricing of Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS).
Example
“For example, if the ICE U.S. Dollar Inflation Expectations Index rises sharply, bond traders may sell long-duration Treasuries anticipating higher future interest rates.”
