Long/Short Equity (L/S)
A hedge fund investment strategy that takes long positions in stocks expected to appreciate and short positions in stocks expected to decline. It aims to profit in both rising and falling markets.

“The hedge fund ran a long/short equity strategy, going long on undervalued tech stocks while shorting overvalued retail stocks to profit regardless of overall market direction.”
