Mintage Cap
The maximum number of coins or tokens that can ever be created for a particular cryptocurrency. Similar to maximum supply, it is hardcoded into the protocol to control inflation.

“Bitcoin's mintage cap of 21 million coins ensures scarcity, unlike fiat currencies which central banks can print without limit.”
