Pip
The smallest standard price move in a currency pair. For most pairs, 1 pip equals 0.0001 (fourth decimal place). For JPY pairs, 1 pip equals 0.01.
Example
“If EUR/USD moves from 1.1050 to 1.1075, that is a 25-pip move. On a standard lot (100,000 units), each pip is worth approximately $10.”
