Pseudonymous

A state in which a user's real identity is hidden behind a pseudonym or alphanumeric address, as is common on many blockchains. Transactions are traceable but not directly tied to real-world identities.

Example

Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, remains pseudonymous — their Bitcoin address and on-chain activity are publicly visible, but their true identity has never been confirmed.
