CryptoQ
QR Code
A type of barcode used by centralized cryptocurrency exchanges (CEX) and other crypto-related services for security purposes that aid in various user account tasks, like login, API key creation, or 2-factor verification. QR codes encode data such as wallet addresses or authentication tokens into a scannable two-dimensional pattern, reducing the risk of manual entry errors.
Example
“When withdrawing Bitcoin from Coinbase, you can scan the recipient wallet's QR code with your phone camera instead of manually typing the 34-character address, eliminating copy-paste errors.”
