Tank
Slang for a sharp decline in the price of an asset or market. When an asset 'tanks,' it experiences a rapid and significant drop in value, often driven by panic selling or negative news.
Example
“After the CEO resigned unexpectedly, the company's stock tanked 25% in a single trading session as investors rushed to exit their positions.”
