Aruban Guilder (AWG)
The official currency of Aruba, abbreviated AWG. It is subdivided into 100 cents and is pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate. Because of this fixed peg, the Aruban Guilder experiences minimal exchange rate volatility, making it straightforward for tourists and businesses transacting with the island.
