General TradingA
At Best
An instruction to a broker to execute an order at the most favorable price currently available in the market, without specifying a particular price limit. This order type prioritizes execution speed over price precision, making it suitable when getting filled is more important than the exact fill price. It is functionally similar to a market order.
Example
“The trader placed an at best order during the news release to ensure immediate execution regardless of the fast-moving price.”
