Burundi Franc (BIF)

The Burundi Franc (BIF) is the official currency of Burundi, a small landlocked country in East Africa. It is issued by the Bank of the Republic of Burundi and is one of the least traded currencies on global foreign exchange markets. The BIF has experienced significant depreciation over the years due to political instability, limited exports, and a heavily aid-dependent economy. It is not commonly available through major forex brokers and is primarily used within the domestic economy.

Example

Due to its extremely limited liquidity, the Burundi Franc is virtually impossible to trade on international forex platforms and is only exchanged locally.
