Colombian Peso (COP)
The Colombian Peso is the official currency of Colombia, abbreviated as COP in forex markets. It is a free-floating currency whose value is influenced by commodity exports, particularly oil and coffee prices. As an emerging market currency, the COP tends to be more volatile than major currencies and is sensitive to shifts in global risk appetite and US dollar strength.
