Demo Account
A demo account is a practice trading account provided by brokers that allows users to trade with virtual money in real market conditions without risking actual capital. It replicates the live trading environment, including real-time price feeds, charting tools, and order execution, making it an essential tool for beginners to learn and for experienced traders to test new strategies. Most brokers offer free demo accounts with a set amount of virtual funds.
Example
“Before going live, the new trader spent three months on a demo account to practice executing trades and testing a breakout strategy with no financial risk.”
