Fill Price
The fill price is the actual price at which a trade order is executed. It may differ from the requested price due to slippage, market gaps, or insufficient liquidity, especially during volatile market conditions.
Example
“The trader entered a market buy for ETH during high volatility and noticed the fill price was $3,215 instead of the $3,200 displayed — a $15 slippage due to a fast-moving market.”
