Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom responsible for overseeing financial markets and protecting consumers. It regulates forex brokers, CFD providers, and other financial firms operating in the UK.

Before opening a trading account with a UK broker, the trader verified that the firm was FCA-regulated by checking its registration number on the FCA's public register.
