Gann Angle
A Gann Angle is a diagonal line drawn on a price chart at a specific angle to represent the relationship between time and price. Developed by W.D. Gann, the most important angle is the 1x1 line at 45 degrees, which represents one unit of price per one unit of time and signals a balanced trend.
Example
“A trader drew a 1x1 Gann Angle from the recent swing low and noticed that price consistently held above this 45-degree support line, confirming the uptrend's strength.”
