Gravestone Doji

A Gravestone Doji is a bearish reversal candlestick pattern that forms when the open, low, and close are at or near the same level with a long upper shadow. It indicates that buyers pushed prices higher during the session but sellers drove it back down by the close.

Example

After a strong uptrend, a gravestone doji formed at resistance with a long upper wick, signaling to the trader that selling pressure was overwhelming buyers and a reversal was likely.
