Hot Storage
A method of storing cryptocurrency in a wallet that is connected to the internet, allowing for quick and convenient access. Less secure than cold storage but more practical for frequent transactions.

“A day trader kept a portion of their ETH in hot storage on MetaMask for quick DeFi transactions, while the majority of their holdings remained in cold storage on a Ledger device.”
