ifo Busines Climate Index
A leading German economic indicator published monthly by the ifo Institute, based on a survey of approximately 9,000 businesses. It measures current business conditions and expectations for the next six months.

“For example, if the ifo Business Climate Index falls for three consecutive months, EUR/USD traders may sell the euro in anticipation of economic slowdown in Germany.”
