Immutable

Unchangeable and permanent. In blockchain, immutability means that once data has been recorded on the chain, it cannot be altered or deleted, ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of the ledger.

Example

For example, when you send 0.5 BTC to another wallet and the transaction is confirmed on the Bitcoin blockchain, that record is immutable and cannot be changed by anyone, including miners.
