International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC)

An advisory committee of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that meets twice a year to advise on the global monetary and financial system, international liquidity, and resource transfers to developing countries.

For example, when the IMFC meets during IMF Spring Meetings and issues a statement warning about global debt levels, it can trigger risk-off sentiment across financial markets.
