Liquidity Pool
A collection of funds locked in a smart contract that provides liquidity for decentralized trading. Liquidity providers deposit token pairs and earn fees from trades.
Example
“A DeFi user deposited equal values of ETH and USDC into a Uniswap liquidity pool, earning a share of the 0.3% fee on every trade in that pair.”
