MA
Moving Average — a widely used technical indicator that calculates the average price of a security over a set number of periods. Smooths price data to identify trends. Common types: SMA, EMA, WMA.

“A trader might use a 50-period MA on the daily chart to determine the medium-term trend — if price is above the MA, the bias is bullish.”
