Mark-to-Market
The practice of revaluing an asset or portfolio to reflect its current market price. In futures trading, accounts are marked to market daily, with gains credited and losses debited from the margin account.

“A portfolio manager marked their bond holdings to market at quarter-end, revealing a 3% unrealized loss due to rising interest rates.”
