Option
A financial contract giving the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy (call) or sell (put) an underlying asset at a specified strike price within a certain period.
Example
“A trader bought a call option on Tesla with a $250 strike price expiring in 30 days, paying a $5 premium per share for the right to buy at that price.”
