Pennants
A continuation chart pattern formed by converging trendlines during a brief consolidation after a strong price move. Pennants typically resolve in the direction of the preceding trend.
Example
“After a sharp rally from $50 to $60, a stock formed a pennant with converging trendlines before breaking out above $60 to continue its uptrend toward $70.”
