Public Key
A cryptographic code that serves as an address for receiving cryptocurrency, derived from the private key. It can be shared publicly and is used to verify digital signatures without revealing the private key.
Example
“A crypto user shares their public key with a friend so the friend can send 0.1 ETH to their wallet, while the private key remains securely stored on their hardware device.”
