Rollover Fee
A fee charged or credited to a trader for holding a leveraged position overnight, based on the interest rate differential between the two currencies in a forex pair. Also known as the swap rate.
Example
“A trader holding a short EUR/USD position overnight pays a rollover fee of $2.50 per lot because the eurozone's interest rate is lower than the U.S. rate in this direction.”
