Securities
Tradable financial instruments that hold monetary value, including stocks, bonds, options, and other investment contracts. Securities are broadly classified into equity securities (ownership stakes), debt securities (loans to be repaid), and derivative securities (contracts whose value is derived from an underlying asset).
