Sloppy

A term used by traders to describe a market that is exhibiting erratic, unpredictable, or disorderly price action with no clear direction. Sloppy markets can make it difficult to identify reliable trading setups.

Example

The price action on EUR/USD was sloppy all morning, with choppy candles and constant stop hunts, so the trader decided to stay flat until conditions improved.
