Stock-to-Flow
A model measuring the scarcity of an asset by comparing its current stock (total existing supply) to the flow (new production). Higher ratio = more scarce.
Example
“After the 2024 halving, Bitcoin's stock-to-flow ratio doubled to roughly 120, surpassing gold's ratio and reinforcing the narrative that BTC is the hardest money ever created.”
