Stocky
A slang term used by traders to describe market conditions or price action that appears chunky, volatile, or difficult to trade smoothly. It implies irregular price movements that make clean entries and exits challenging.
Example
“Price action was really stocky around the $50 level, with erratic moves and frequent wicks in both directions, so she decided to wait for a cleaner setup before entering.”
