Trend Following
A trading strategy that seeks to profit by identifying and riding established market trends, buying in uptrends and selling in downtrends using technical indicators for confirmation.
Example
“A trend-following system using the 50/200 moving average crossover kept the trader long on AAPL throughout its 40% rally, only exiting when the golden cross reversed.”
