The Ibovespa is Brazil's most important equity index, tracking the most actively traded and representative stocks on the B3 exchange. It is the primary gauge of the Brazilian stock market and is heavily influenced by commodity prices, domestic politics, and emerging market capital flows.

~85 stocks that account for approximately 80% of total trading volume on B3. Key constituents include Vale, Petrobras, Itaú Unibanco, Bradesco, and B3 itself.
Trading Hours
Regular session: 10:00–17:55 BRT (Mon–Fri). After-market until 18:25 BRT.
