About DAX 40
The Deutsche Aktienindex (DAX) is Germany's premier blue-chip index tracking the 40 largest and most liquid companies on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Expanded from 30 to 40 constituents in September 2021, the DAX is Europe's most-watched national index and a barometer for the entire eurozone economy.
