The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) is a capitalisation-weighted index of 30 companies primarily involved in the design, distribution, manufacture, and sale of semiconductors. Given the growing importance of chips in AI, automotive, and data centres, SOX has become one of the most closely tracked sector indices.
