AU Current Account
Monitor AU Current Account to gauge AUD demand. A surplus boost indicates increased foreign transactions.
Overview
This indicator is closely tied to currency demand; an increasing surplus suggests that foreign investors are purchasing more of the domestic currency to carry out transactions within the country. The goods component has no effect as it duplicates the monthly Trade Balance data.
