ACH Transfer
ACH transfer is a money transfer method used by users of centralized cryptocurrency exchanges (CEX) to fund their accounts. Standing for Automated Clearing House, ACH transfers are a low-cost alternative to wire transfers and typically settle within one to three business days. They are one of the most common ways US-based traders move fiat currency between bank accounts and crypto exchanges.
Example
“I initiated an ACH transfer from my bank to Coinbase and the funds were available for trading the next business day.”
