Bahrain Dinars (BHD)
The official currency of the Kingdom of Bahrain, abbreviated BHD and subdivided into 1,000 fils. It is one of the highest-valued currency units in the world, pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate of approximately 1 BHD = 2.659 USD. The Central Bank of Bahrain manages the currency and its monetary policy, and the dinar's stability is underpinned by the country's oil revenues.
