Cac 40

The CAC 40 (Cotation Assistee en Continu) is the benchmark French stock market index, tracking the 40 largest and most actively traded stocks on the Euronext Paris exchange. It serves as a key indicator of the French economy and European market health. The index is reviewed quarterly and weighted by free-float market capitalization, making it a popular instrument for traders seeking exposure to the eurozone.

Example

The CAC 40 surged 2% on the back of strong luxury goods earnings from LVMH and Kering.
