Cambist
A cambist is a professional foreign exchange dealer or a reference manual containing exchange rate tables and currency conversion information. In modern usage, the term typically refers to an expert in the foreign exchange market. Historically, cambists played a critical role in international trade by facilitating currency conversions before the advent of electronic trading platforms.
